Lubitel 166U Lomo before Lomography TLR

Rm320
Fully Working Condition

The Lubitel 166U was made by Lomo in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), Russia. The Lubitel is the poor man's twin lens reflex camera. Being made of plastic, it is sometimes lumped into the toy camera category, but it does have a glass lens and other features like several apertures and shutter speeds. Despite the apparent ability to "control" this camera, I have to admit that this isn't my favorite machine. Although bright, the screen is really hard to focus. It has a ground circle in the center and a small magnifying glass to help with the task, but the results don't seem worth the effort. You are almost better off estimating the distance Holga-style. But all-in-all, it is capable of taking pretty sharp photos, and if you are willing to put up with its idiosyncrasies, it can be a nice little camera.

Olympus Pen EE3

Have you ever wonder how did the PEN series get their name?

The original Pen was introduced in 1959. It was designed by Yoshihisa Maitani, and was the first half-frame camera produced in Japan. It was one of the smallest cameras to use 35mm film in regular 135 cassettes. It was thought to be as portable as a pen; thus the name.

While the EE series are half frame cameras which can be easily recognized by the selenium meter window around the lens.

Olympus has done quite a good job at their page for their film cameras, if you are interested you can have alook here OLYMPUS MUSEUM. The only problem is you can't touch the real camera hehe.

Ok, finish with olympus history 101, Olympus Pen EE-3 is in the house!
Lens :28mm f3.5
Shutter Speed :1/60
Exposure: Automatic by Selenium Meter(iso 25-400)

First of all, its a half frame camera, which as per name uses half frame thus a 36 exposure film will be able to come out with 72pictures! It is a also a simple point and shoot camera, just set the ISO for your film and advance your film and you are ready to snap.

It's a good camera to start with for a beginner and yet a camera worth collecting: full metal body, small, sexy selenium meter. Oh ya, it does not requires any batteries, mechanical shutter, metering provided via solar.

This camera has been undergone service, lense cleaned, camera mechanical parts has been lubricated, light seals has been replaced, original broken plastic shutter button replaced to a metal button. One thing is the metal button cant be fitter with shutter release cable.

Price: Rm200(exclude postage)
